"Lyric Suite is a must-have for string quartets to prove their artistic form. Toccata Classics, for which we recorded before the album with music by Ernst Krenek, is in general specializing in issuing first recordings of an undistributed before works. During a meeting with the Director of the label I mentioned that the transcription of the Lyric Suite was completed by Theo Verbey, and there is also a beautiful version of the string piano Sonatas op. 1 drawn up recently as well.  We got the green light and this may be one of the most important projects of the Leopoldinum ".
In addition to the Lyric Suite and Sonata the orchestra recorded arranged by Alfred Schnittke Kanon and selected miniature s arranged for strings by Ernst Kovacic.   The recording was carried out in February 2014 in the Radio Wroclaw, under the guidance of the CD Accord recording engineers – Ewa Lasocka and Antoni Grzymała.

P. Czajkovskiego, którego to słynna Serenada C - Dur uwieńczy koncert.
